As our organization grows and evolves setting, implementing and measuring best practices will be critical to our continued success.  As Imperial Dade grows through acquisition, quickly assimilating the new operations into our processes and culture will be imperative.  This role will evaluate existing processes and metrics, revise as needed by working with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) and effectively implement throughout the organization.  Additionally, this position will work with regional operations leaders to measure and improve their operational KPIs.  Not only will this role help set processes and procedures for operations already using our Imperial Dade ERP (S2K), but also ensure locations noy yet on ERP system operate optimally.  This role will work closely with many if not all the departments and leaders in the organization.

You will:

• Own Operations SOPS from creation to implementation
• Ensure all locations are meeting established performance metrics
• Work directly with regional and local operations leaders to implement and improve performance
• Ensure warehouse layout and design are optimal for new and existing locations
• Provides assistance and training to operations leaders as needed
• Provides various reports and analyzes, including safety trends. Develops cost saving recommendations. Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
• Own operational metrics nationally, work with regional leaders to drive improvement
• Provide guidance to locations not operating optimally

You have:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations-5 years of experience preferred
• Ability to travel when needed-30% estimated
• Project Management experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of S2K and/or other similar ERP platforms
• Ability to manage people and performance both remotely and in person
• Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Good verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels
• Six Sigma, Lean or similar program knowledge a plus
