Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a role available in Jersey City, NJ! We are looking for an Outbound Dispatcher  to join our team. The Dispatcher is responsible for facilitating the efficient and timely delivery of customer orders using our Roadnet and Safe Drive software packages to generate the best possible routing solutions. The Dispatcher will also be assisting in monitoring daily route performance and assisting Operations in completing immediate route needs and adjustments.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Experience with drivers making deliveries in the New England area  
  • Arranges and monitors the Pickup of product(s) outside vendors
  • Assist with driver check in (Product returns and checking the driver’s paperwork for accuracy)
  • Checks cleanliness of trucks to ensure that proper sanitation procedures are followed
  • Investigates truck accidents and prepares accident reports

Qualifications

You have:

  • Knowledge of D.O.T Requirements
  • Knowledge of Straight Trucks, Tractor/Trailer, Non-CDL Trucks, and Material Handling Equipment
  • A proven track record in Service, Attendance, and Reliability
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with drivers, customers, Customer Service, Sales, and company staff
  • Must be organized and be able to multitask while problem solve
  • Able to work in work in a fast paced, detail orientated environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Road Net and Fleet Dash Cams experience a plus
