Dispatch Coordinator

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 3:00 am to finish.

You will:

• Dispatch and communicate effectively with drivers
• Collaborate with management to modify routes in order to accommodate the customers’ needs
• Load a limited amount of trucks for various reasons, including outside carriers and equipment breakdowns.
• Monitor routes using OMNITRACS AND GEOTABS and react to drivers running behind
• Responsible for the scheduling of equipment for service
• Communicate with outside vendors to expedite service to disabled vehicles
• Work in a team environment
• Work efficiently in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
• Distribute and update driver’s phones when needed
• Maintain equipment inventory reports
• View and corrects drivers logs daily
• Any other duties assigned by managemen

You have:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Excell and Outlook
• 1+ years of Dispatching experience
• Knowledge of logistics
• Knowledge of Omnitracs (Roadnet)and Geotabs a plus
