Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installing equipment and assisting customers by providing excellent service. We provide preventive maintenance for our customers who lease or rent dish machines and purchase chemical products for laundry, housekeeping, and kitchen applications. • Work Days: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a rotating on-call schedule
• Location: Based in Rochester, NY; service areas include Western NY (Syracuse, Utica, Rochester, Buffalo), PA, and the Southern Tier. Company vehicle provided.

The pay rate for the position is $28.00/hour.

You will:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial equipment, including warewashing machines, chemical dispensers, towel/tissue dispensers, laundry chemical systems, and floor cleaning equipment.
• Train customers in equipment and product use; offer usage recommendations.
• Identify and report needed replacement parts.
• Communicate repair needs, parts orders, and labor estimates to management.
• Follow management’s direction for service call scheduling and installations.
• Attend relevant industry training.
• Stay informed on company products, services, and customer needs.

You have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a field service technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, troubleshooting, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Chemical handling experience (warewashing/laundry) a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Flexible and able to prioritize in a dynamic work environment.
• Able to lift over 50 lbs. comfortably & unassisted and perform physical tasks (kneeling, bending, reaching, etc.).
• Valid, clean driver’s license required.
