The schedule is Monday-Friday 9:00am-06:00pm.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping 
  • Oversees operations for the transportation department
  • Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends.
  • Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Ensure that all operations are done in a safe manner in accordance to OSHA and APP safety standards.
  • Ensure that payroll responsibilities for the warehouse and transportation supervisors are being completed in a timely manner
  • Develop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures within responsible departments.
  • Audit procedures in all departments.
  • Ensure that AIB standards are maintained throughout the warehouse, transportation and the proper documentation is performed and followed up.
  • Ensure all FMCSA, DOT, and CHP standards and regulations are being met
  • Ensure that all Health & Safety standards and regulations are being followed
  • Interview, hire, promote, discipline and terminate warehouse and transportation employees
  • Maintain and improve/update all training programs for the warehouse and transportation.
  • Manage safety through-out the company including safety committee meetings and implementing new safety policies.
  • Meets warehouse operations financial objectives by forecasting requirements
  • Keep track of department stats, KPI’s, and other important information for the proper management of the departments.
  • Successfully operate RF scanner handheld devices as part of daily duties and perform functions in company ERP (SX).
  • Manages vehicle accidents, warehouse injuries, reporting (completion of forms), and follow up.
  • Provide additional leadership and support to the consolidation planning and execution of route optimization and warehouse consolidations as needed.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 2 years of experience managing a warehouse employees and drivers
  • Experience in enforcing OSHA regulations
  • Experience in enforcing FMCSA, DOT, and CHP standards and procedures
  • Experience in managing the department financial objective by forecasting requirements
  • Experience in implementing and enforcing KPI’s
