The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for compiling large data sets and utilizing output to review tactical key performance measures and provide exception management reporting. The analyst will assist the fast-paced purchasing team and other internal teams in optimizing inventory balancing, drive efficiencies and flow and will also work to coordinate and arrange for product movement between warehouses. 

 

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Leverage enterprise data to drive supply chain optimization projects
  • Align vendor and item master data in accordance with company standards
  • Act as a liaison between the purchasing team and the operations team to provide visibility and drive the optimal inventory balancing of product and drive overall efficiencies. 
  • Develop and maintain analytical tools, reports, and ad hoc models to track key metrics.
  • Develop a working knowledge of key supply chain concepts including material procurement strategy, inventory management, warehouse and distribution operations and ERP systems
  • Extract, validate, manipulate, and summarize large datasets
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses included but not limited to impact assessment of vendor cost changes, internal inventory transfers, vendor minimum order policies, vendor lead time changes.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 1 to 3 years of Supply Chain or Inventory or experience required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Information Technology, Math or Data Science.
  • Strong Excel skills a must. Access, iSeries, Microsoft Power Query / Power BI and/or Cognos experience a plus.
  • Highly analytical with associated problem-solving skills. Able to work with large and diverse data sets and disseminate key gaps to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Computer literacy: Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (Lookups, data sourcing, formatting, pivots, nested if statements, etc.), and Power Query and Power BI
