Overview

Imperial Dade, a top North American distributor, seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager for our Livermore, CA distribution warehouse. The Operations Manager will oversee local and cross-dock warehouse operations. This role requires a strategic leader with experience in a high-volume distribution warehouse, change management, leadership development, and leading high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating ambiguity and driving business initiatives that support our rapid growth and operational warehouse excellence.

 

Salary: $110,000 - $115,000/yr.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company policies
  • Meet productivity targets and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to optimize operations
  • Commit to a strong safety program and adherence to protocols. 
  • Oversee receiving and warehousing operations, layout setup, space utilization, inventory control through physical counts and data reconciliation.
  • Partner with Human Resources and Safety
  • Participate in annual budget planning
  • Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate warehouse employees
  • Manage warehouse transportation teams, including trucks and drivers where appropriate

Qualifications

You have:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years in warehouse management, with 4+ as a Warehouse Manager.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean concepts. P&L experience is a plus.
