The Operations Manager will oversee both local and cross-dock operations. This role requires a strategic leader with experience in high-volume distribution, change management, team development, and supporting high-performance teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating ambiguity and driving business initiatives that support our rapid growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Lead with vision, strategically manage the warehouse, and develop a cross-functional team
  • Achieve productivity targets and implement process improvement initiatives to optimize operations.
  • Oversee receiving and warehousing operations, set up the layout, ensure efficient space utilization, control inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data, and manage stock control.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and Safety to initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
  • Participate in annual budget planning and management.

Qualifications

You have:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years in warehouse operations, including 4+ years as a Warehouse Manager
  • Experience in high-velocity distribution centers and wholesale distribution.
  • Experience evaluating warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Skills in safety management, surveillance, and inventory control.
  • Experience with Six Sigma or Lean concepts.
