The Supply Chain Coordinator will assist a fast-paced purchasing team in the management of purchase orders, inbound freight and select data maintenance.  This will include collaboration with the purchasing team on entry of drop ship orders, confirmation of existing orders with vendors, adjustments to orders that have already been placed, follow up with source suppliers on the status of open orders, working with suppliers and carriers to expedite orders and partnering with the warehouse inventory team to ensure accurate receipts. 

This role is scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Salary: $45,000-$50,000/yr

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Develop a relationship with the buyers to effectively understand our products and the relationships with our source suppliers.
  • Conduct new item set-ups and maintenance in our ERP system at item-location level
  • Process and validate purchase order confirmations
  • Write vendor direct purchase order to our customers (drop ships) and required follow-ups.
  • Provides support as needed to the daily ordering and inventory activities of the Purchasing Department

Qualifications

You have:

  • 1 year of purchasing, inventory management and supply-chain related experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication & problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.  An aptitude to learn other technical applications.
