The individual will be responsible for onboarding, consolidating, and analyzing the monthly financial results of acquired companies. He/she will work with the acquired company’s accounting personnel to understand the chart of accounts and historical accounting policies, consolidate monthly financial results into Imperial Dade’s ERP, prepare month-end reconciliations, and will also assist the branch with miscellaneous accounting needs. Individual will work with others within the accounting department as well as with employees from multiple other departments, including financial planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, and tax.

Full-Time Salary:

85,000 to 95,000 + bonus

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Act as the point of contact for acquired company’s accounting team
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reconciliations and record journal entries
  • Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and supporting documentation
  • Prepare timely and accurate month-end accounting close and associated tasks
  • Assist in preparing internal management review packages and effectively communicate risks and results.
  • General accounting accruals & estimates and perform reconciliations and roll-forwards
  • Drive consistency in accounting policies and implement best practices at the newly acquired company
  • Assists in special projects, external audit requests and/or performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You have:

  • 3 to 4 + years of Operations Accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Must have experience with operations accounting experience with a multi-location Distribution or Manufacturing company.
  • Proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of Blackline and Planful are a plus.
  • Experience with inventory accounting is a plus.
  • 10% Travel required
