Our IT department is hiring a talented IT Technician responsible for multiple areas of expertise which include: End User Help desk support; Maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, repairing, and updating/upgrading computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals; System setups for new hires. Responsibilities

You will:

  • Document, maintain, and upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
  • Assist with end user support for hardware and Windows software support across all locations.
  • Sett up new desktops and laptops for new users, along with replacements for existing users.
  • Support and maintains user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
  • Review security requirements and back up requirements for the network and applications.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism and grooming. Keep desks and IT area neat and orderly.
  • Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
  • Work with all personnel to meet company and user needs.
  • Have the ability to respond to help desk requests after hours on a rotational basis

Qualifications

You have:

  • Completed or obtaining Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology preferred or equivalent experience
  • Previous 1-year experience in Information Technology.
  • Customer-facing “soft-skills” including excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge with Microsoft Windows operating system & Microsoft Office Suites
  • Good problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong aptitude to learn new technologies
  • Applies newly developed skills under the direction of the Network Administrator.
  • Completed or obtaining CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
