The Pricing Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversees the output of the pricing team members. Implements and enforces department policies and procedures. This individual has an understanding of all aspects of price and vendor contract administration and will utilize the knowledge to maximize profitability while remaining in compliance with customer programs. The Pricing Supervisor reports to the Pricing Manager.

 

Compensation: $65,000/yr

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage day to day to ensure all pricing functions and output are being completed on time and within SLA.
  • Monitor KPIs daily and ensure team is hitting department goals. Notify Manager of discrepancies.
  • Ensure adequate coverage by employees by reviewing and submitting recommendation to manager for approval of all Call Ins/Vacation/PTO etc.
  • Lead role in training and developing team members
  • Review workload and balance between team members.
  • Answer Team member questions, coach, and train as needed
  • Escalate issues to Pricing Manager with recommended solution
  • First escalation point for team members to help resolve issues. Escalation to manager as necessary.
  • Quality Control team member work by reviewing various reporting and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to manager for updates in processes and procedures to ensure better accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist in resolving cross department issues that are part of Routine process/functions. Escalating to management as necessary.
  • Maintain and update process documentation for department.
  • Provide input to Manager regarding Performance reviews, feedbacks, write ups, etc. These functions are the responsibility of the Manager.
  • Perform various analysis and draw conclusions/make recommendations
  • Perform audits by reviewing and resolving issues and problems
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Network and program pricing and costing
  • Work with sales reps to determine pricing, contract eligibility and other matters
  • Communication with Network, Vendors, Sales Reps, and Internal departments
  • Write advanced data reports within department in Excel, Crystal, and SQL
  • Use technology including but not limited to Power BI, Asana, OneNote
  • Problem solve and resolve customer pricing issues
  • Generate various reports including order guides and sales tools
  • Review and make recommendations on pricing credits
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of strong Data and Data Analytics skillset
  • 5+ years of MS Office Suite experience, high proficiency in Excel
  • Supervisor experience preferred
  • Excellent decision-making, communication, and leadership skills
  • Competitive nature able to work in fast pace high volume environment
