Equipment Service Technician

Allied Eagle Supply, a division of Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, is hiring a talented Equipment Service Technician to join our Operations department in Detroit, MI!  We are currently looking for an Equipment Mechanic/Technician for commercial cleaning and packaging equipment for our customers located in the metro Detroit area. Service work is performed at customer locations.

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, some overtime as needed.
This position qualifies for a $500 sign on bonus after 90 days of employment!

Compensation: $18/hr+ depending on experience

You will:

• Provide service, repair, and preventative maintenance of commercial cleaning equipment
• Require frequent travel to service customers covering the area of Detroit Metro Michigan- Use of a company vehicle and fuel card provided.
• Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Prioritize service calls to ensure maximum use of time and resources
• Ensure all safety and protective functions of all serviced equipment is operational
• Make certain that company property and inventory are maintained in good usable condition
• Prepare all service documents, Services Repair Orders/Warranty and Sales Orders
• Able to provide service on various types of equipment

You Have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associates Degree or Certificate from a technical trade school preferred
• Prior experience in a related field; equipment service, maintenance technician etc.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting ability
• Must have a driver’s license and a good Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to self-motivate to get results in critical areas
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi task in order to keep on schedule
• Accepts personal accountability for continuous learning
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
