Overview

Imperial Dade, leading national distributor, has a job open in Jersey City, NJ. We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Pricing & Bids Coordinator with the ability to multi-task.  The primary objective of this position is to work with managers to develop pricing strategies for new/ existing customers. The Pricing & Coordinator role is Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Work with Managers to develop pricing strategies for new/ existing customers
  • Work with the Pricing Team to formulate responses to pricing requests
  • Complete solicitations and submitting bids
  • Manage pricing updates for existing customers
  • Update daily, weekly and monthly pricing into our system
  • Able to conduct market research for competitive advantage
  • Handle bid documents including reviewing terms and background
  • Contact vendors to get pricing and following up to meet deadlines
  • Forecast future sales prices
  • Sales support
  • Analyze profit margin reports
  • Run monthly sales analysis

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level experience within distribution industry 
  • Experience supporting a sales team 
  • Minimum 1 year experience within an analytical role, demonstrating expert level report analysis
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent with Microsoft Excel and other office 365 products.
