CDL A Delivery Driver

Imperial Dade, a leading national distributor, is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to join the transportation team in Kansas City, MO! The Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of 15-25 stops daily. These predetermined and established local and regional routes cover Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Iowa. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to where the customer prefers. An important aspect of this position will be delivering not only product, but exceptional customer service. Aside from regional routes, this position is from 6:00 am - finish, Monday through Friday. The schedule may change slightly due to operational needs.

The Schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 6:00am until the route is completed.

Compensation: $28/hr

You will:

• Safely operate a 53’ truck, or smaller
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after trip
• Support with warehouse duties when needed

You have:

• Clear MVR
• Lift gate experience
• 1 year of active and recent CDL A experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing attitude
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Able to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• Must have a valid commercial driver’s license
• Must have a valid and up to date DOT Medical Card
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam
• Must be available for at least one regional route per week
  • Regional routes are no more than 2 days per week and drivers are provided a hotel and meals
• Must be available for overtime and assist in the warehouse as needed
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to handle physical workload
