Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has a role available in North Bergen, NJ! Imperial Dade is seeking a new Director of Compensation. Reporting directly to our CHRO, you will have the opportunity to build a compensation function from the ground up and implement a competitive compensation structure and philosophy.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Shape the future of our rewards: Develop and implement a competitive compensation philosophy that attracts top talent across the organization. This includes salary structures, market analysis, and job evaluation processes.

  • Partner for success: Collaborate with HR business partners to identify and address compensation needs across all departments.

  • Drive program effectiveness: Oversee annual salary planning for hourly and salaried employees, including merit increases and short-term incentive structures. You'll also manage, and ensure the effectiveness of our equity programs.

  • Ensure compliance and fairness: Stay on top of federal and state regulations to ensure all compensation programs are compliant and promote pay equity.

  • Build compensation excellence: Develop training programs to educate employees on your thoughtfully designed compensation plans, maximizing perceived value and employee engagement.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in compensation administration

  • Proven ability to design & administer sales compensation plans

  • Knowledge of equity programs in the private sector (a plus)

  • Experience in a high-growth environment (a plus)

  • Strong knowledge of pay equity & regulations

  • Tech-savvy (MS Office Suite & HRIS)
