You will:

Technical Design Development:

· Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications based on project requirements and design concepts

· Utilize CAD software to create accurate and comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations and sections

Collaboration and Coordination:

· Collaborate with architects, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical designs with project goals and objectives

· Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design conflicts and ensure smooth project execution

Code Compliance and Quality Assurance:

· Ensure technical designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards

· Conduct quality assurance reviews of technical drawings to identify and address any discrepancies or errors

Construction Documentation:

· Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, and material schedules

· Assist in the preparation of bid packages and construction contracts

Project Support:

· Provide technical support to project teams throughout the construction process, responding to RFIs and assisting in resolving on-site construction issues

· Assist in conducting site visits and surveys to gather information for design development and coordination

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or practical experience
• 2-3 years of experience in technical design in the construction services industry
• Strong Technical aptitude and understanding of construction principles, materials and methods
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
• Proficient in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in technical designs and documentation
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
