Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading national distributor, has a Sales Manager opportunity available in Loxley, AL.

 

The Sales Manager sets sales goals based on a thorough knowledge of selling patterns within their assigned territory.  The Sales Manager ensures all direct reports receive the training and development necessary for success.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to establish and execute sales goals for the area
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and expense reduction
  • Stay current with new trends, economic indicators, and competitor activity
  • Select, recruit, coach, and counsel team members to ensure strong results
  • Together with the team, build and maintain strong, trusting relationships with key customers
  • Partner with the team to nurture and develop new customer opportunities
  • Manage, develop, coach, counsel, and motivate the sales team
  • Educate the sales team through regular meetings, seminars, and training.

Qualifications

You have: 

  • 5+ years of sales experience (Jan/San or Food Service)
  • 3+ years of sales leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent strategic & creative problem-solving skills
  • Local geographic market knowledge
