The Human Resources Generalist will play an integral role in all facets of “front-line” HR support at our three facilities: Rochester (2) & Syracuse, through the implementation of Human Resources policies and programs at a local level.

 

Reporting to the Regional VP, Human Resources, your responsibilities will include implementing Human Resources programs and policies such as New Hire On-boarding, Employee Relations, Payroll Administration, and other culture-building activities both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Conduct new hire orientation, manage new hire paperwork, and serve as a trusted advisor for all new hires.
  • Partner with Regional VP, Human Resources to resolve employee relations issues.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and guidance to management and employees.
  • Drive a positive employee focused culture that supports the company's goals and promotes employee satisfaction.
  • Partner with Imperial Dade Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits and Human Resources teams on related issues as needed.

Qualifications

You have:

  • An associate or bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including employee relations.
  • Knowledge of employment laws including ADA, FLSA, FMLA.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred
  • SHRM certification a plus.
