Overview

Imperial Dade is seeking a highly experienced Director, FP&A to join our dynamic team. As a key advisor, you will drive financial strategy, analysis, and reporting to support our company's growth and success. We are open to NYC-based candidates.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage the reporting and analysis function and the corporate FP&A function, helping drive forecasting that leads to better company decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to 2 analysts.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders through strategic plan development, budgeting, forecasting, overall measurement, and financial analysis, serving as a key driver of overall financial performance.
  • Provide ownership of financial strategy and performance, inclusive of the P&L monthly close, monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Create the data and information reporting strategy that democratizes information for the organization, clearly articulating and connecting key assumptions behind the strategy and forecasting.
  • Build a trusted partnership by collaborating with department heads by reviewing financial plans and goals constructively.
  • Share facts and thoughtful insights (e.g., financial models) to inform/support more effective management decisions.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A, with a focus on strategy.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
