Regional Distributors, a division of Imperial Dade, a leading North America distributor of, has a Chemical & Equipment Manager position available! We are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Chemical & Equipment Services Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong team management and project coordination skills, as well as working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and servicing of warewashing, on-premise laundry and chemicals..

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Manage site surveys, installation, preventative maintenance, servicing and training of various commercial equipment
  • Conduct and assist with surveys, installs, PM, repair service and customer training.
  • Train, manage and mentor a team of four field service technicians and one service coordinator. 
  • Collaborate with sales team to provide solutions for successful outcomes
  • Maintain relationships with all chemical and equipment manufacturers to ensure the latest industry innovations and standards.
  • Assist with the creation of project quotes including equipment and accessories, pricing, labor involved, etc.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement encouraging team members to share ideas and best practices.
  • Source and hire third-party contractors as needed.
  • Participate in relevant service, safety and industry related trainings.
  • Ensure professional, first-rate, timely service to maintain the company's high level of service and satisfaction standards.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience selling chemicals, jan/san, ESP (dispensed chemicals) and/or ESP Equipment (dish machines) 
  • At least 2+ years in a managerial role 
  • Knowledge and application of safety procedures in an equipment service setting.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and reach above and below the waist.

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000
