Overview

Imperial Dade, a leading North American distributor, has an Email Marketing Manager role available!

We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Email Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing team and lead the development of our email channel to drive meaningful business impact. This role will establish the email marketing vision, strategy, and execution to accelerate Imperial Dade’s digital adoption.

You will be responsible for maximizing profitable online conversions and digital revenue through the development, implementation, and optimization of email marketing strategies that engage our target audience.

Responsibilities

You will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the email marketing vision, strategy, and execution for Imperial Dade.
  • Framework Development: Establish a clear framework for how campaigns should be created, executed, measured, and optimized.
  • Segmentation & Targeting: Identify target segments, define campaign goals, and determine optimal frequency and timing of emails, focusing on customer lifecycle management.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure accuracy and hygiene of the email database while maintaining opt-in practices and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, content, and analytics teams to align email marketing efforts with broader sales, marketing and digital initiatives.
  • End-to-End Campaign Management: Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing campaigns from conceptualization to delivery and analysis.
  • Engaging Content Creation: Create compelling email content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice, including engaging copy and visuals.
  • List Management: Segment and manage email lists to ensure accurate targeting and personalized communication based on customer demographics and behavior.
  • Template Design: Design visually appealing and responsive email templates for various devices and browsers.
  • Optimization & Testing: Identify opportunities for email optimization and implement A/B testing to analyze performance metrics and enhance campaign effectiveness.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), including deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and ROI.
  • Business Impact: Improve qualified traffic to Imperial Dade’s digital properties, optimizing based on conversion rates and average order value - maximizing profitable sales via all of Imperial Dade’s channels (digital, offline).
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in email marketing to foster innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

You have:

 

  • 7+ years of email marketing experience with established, heavily trafficked B2B/B2C e-commerce websites.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue and customer acquisition/retention through email marketing.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, GDPR, and CAN-SPAM compliance.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as HubSpot and other marketing automation tools.
  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS for email template customization.
  • Experience with A/B testing and relevant advertising platforms, such as Google Ads.
  • Familiarity with B2B distribution industry practices and trends is a plus.
